Vitamin E is another supplement to boost immunity and enable the all-important T cells to fight the flu virus and keep it away. Vitamin E can be found in almonds, sunflower seeds, butter, vegetable oils and egg yolks. Around 30 mg of almonds would provide half the daily Vitamin E requirement.
